Aim of this course
This course will enable participants to prepare food safely and maintain correct food hygiene practices at home and at work.
At the end of this course, learners will be able to:
  1. Describe the legal requirement with regard to food hygiene and safety
  2. Explain the results of poor food hygiene practices at work and at home
  3. Recognise the causes of food poisoning
  4. Recognise food poisoning symptoms
  5. Understand the importance of good personal hygiene
  6. Understand the importance of correct food handling and preparation at work.
