Aim of this course
The aim of the session is to provide learners with knowledge of their roles and responsibilities regarding the Mental Health Awareness.
At the end of this course, learners will be able to:
  1. Understand how common mental health problems are in the UK
  2. Understand the different mental health problems
  3. Understand the principle of parity of esteem in relation to mental health
  4. Know where to find additional information and support for people who have mental health problems
  5. Understand how health and social care staff can improve their interaction with people who have mental health problems.
