Aim of this course
The aim of the sessions is to inform care workers about their role, their personal development and duty of care.
​At the end of this course, learners will be able to:
  1. Understand their own role
  2. Work in ways that have been agreed with their employer
  3. Understand working relationships in health and social care and work in partnership.
  4. Agree a personal development plan
  5. Develop their knowledge, skills and understanding
  6. Understand how duty of care contributes to safe practice 
  7. Understand support available for addressing dilemmas that may arise about duty of care 
  8. Deal with comments, complaints, incidents, errors and near misses 
  9. Deal with confrontation and difficult situations.
